“Intro to Alterations” Part 1 Learning Hemming Pants

Welcome to part 2 of introduction to machine sewing Hemming addition!

We are all about fashion sustainability so the goal of this class is to teach people how to extend the life expectancy of their clothes and to feel confident in their new and improved threads! Hemming is a sewing technique that finishes the edge of fabric which will prevent fraying (fabric having loose threads at the bottom) and adjust the length of your garment. Usually you will do this on garments such as shirts, skirts, pants etc.

Scrap Exchange will release the sign up link in a few weeks so mark your calendars now!
